Playwright" is an up-and-coming label that emerged like a comet in the Japanese jazz industry in 2012. This is a collection of newly recorded cover albums by artists who have released on the label, which means "playwright. The album features the newly released third album by fox capture plan, the steelpan orchestra WAIWAI STEEL BAND, and the piano trio PRIMITIVE ART, who make a spectacular debut with the simultaneous release of this album (Tower Records pre-sale). ORCHESTRA, bohemianvoodoo, whose second album "SCENES" released in 2012 continues to enjoy long sales and is expected to release a long-awaited new album at the end of 2014, Tres-men, who continue to pursue the next generation of dance music, and the jazz/brazilian based R&B and HIP HIP HOP Immigrant's Bossa Band, which comfortably blends elements of R&B and HIP HOP with a jazz/Brazilian base.As a big surprise, Playwright Players, a group of elite musicians selected from various bands and formed for this project, and TRI4TH, an up-and-coming band in the jazz scene that is gaining recognition both in Japan and abroad, will join the project in a blitz!
