He pioneered the fusion of rock and classical music, leading his own orchestra on tour, and on September 23, 2023, Berkeley James Harvest will perform a remarkable and unique concert with the English Symphony Orchestra for the first time since 1973. Joining JLBJH for this memorable concert was the Slaithwaite Philharmonic Orchestra. And conducted by Benjamin Ellin. The performance featured classic BJH songs such as "The Poet," "After The Day," "Mocking Bird," "She Said," "Galadriel," "Poor Man's Moody Blues," and "Hymn" as well as newer songs.It also includes two songs that have not been performed live since 1973: Woolly Wolstenholme's stirring "Moonwater" (sung by guest vocalist Eleanor Sanders) and the magnificent and majestic "Dark Now My Sky." The Orchestra Concert" has been mixed by Steven W. Taylor in both stereo and 5.1 surround sound, and the entire concert is included on two CDs, a high-definition Blu-ray with 5.1 surround sound, and a DVD of this amazing concert. DVD is also included.
