Hermes is concrete sculpture. Its part of a large work that is also photographic: Digital Journey into the Classic, where the original classic is provocatively manipulated, cut and distorted. The project draws from an archive of classical Greek and Roman beauty. A bulky heritage for those who, like me, no longer seek balance and perfection of form, but still look to the past as an immense source of inspiration. In this series of objects and images I have provocatively given life to virtual and abstract sculptures, which maintain strong physicality. Hermes becomes a real physical sculpture, composed of 3 pieces that can be superimposed or juxtaposed.
